What do I receive?
Once your SEO audit is complete, you’ll receive a full copy of the audit as a PDF, this shows you every check I made, what we tested and the results of the test. You’ll also receive an SEO Audit Report, this report will give you a full overview of the checks we made and your score, as well as my recommendations and detailed guides to fix any issues found.
The audits I complete are designed to be easy to read and understand, I complete the audit using a traffic light system, each check getting ragged either green, amber or red, with the red checks requiring the most attention. This system makes it easy for you to see what needs your attention first. You’ll also have 6 weeks of support, where you can get in touch to discuss your audit, ask for help implementing the recommendations and ask me to recheck things once you think you’ve fixed an issue.
What is an SEO Audit?
An SEO Audit is a process to evaluate the health of a website in a variety of different areas. The audit should identify what is and isn’t working, what’s good and bad, and where a website can change to try and improve it’s overall performance in the search engines.
There are numerous tools online that can complete an SEO audit for you, but these are usually very generic and will never go into the depth and detail of a real human completing an SEO audit on your site who can complete a customised audit to suit your site.
Why do I need an SEO audit?
Things change very quickly in the SEO industry and what is working today may not work in 6 months from now. It is necessary to perform regular SEO audits (at least twice a year) to ensure that your web site is up-to-date with the latest developments.
An SEO audit will help you understand your websites ranking and how you can improve it to appear higher in the search engines and ultimately gain more visitors, potential customers and conversions to your site.
Yes, absolutely you could. If you want to complete your own audit, our blog has numerous posts that can help you understand what to look for and make sense of your findings. Is it recommended? No, not at all. It takes a long time to fully understand SEO and it takes a lot of effort to keep up to date on the latest trends and algorithms, and completing an audit is not as simple as ticking boxes, there’s a lot of technical knowledge needed not to mention hours of time.
Do you offer any other SEO audits?
Yes and no. If you don’t feel either of my audits would suit your website (perhaps your a new start up or your site is simply very big), then please get in touch. We’d be happy to discuss your websites audit needs with you to see how an SEO audit might benefit your website.
Can I implement the recommendations myself?
The audit you will receive contains a lot of information and possibly a lot of recommendations, if you or your web master have a good knowledge of how your website was built, you should be able to implement most of the recommendations yourself. You may also need to involve your website host to make any server side recommendations.
As standard, we don’t implement any recommendations myself, if you’d like to discuss implementing the recommendations, please feel free to get in touch.
How does the process work?
